Get answers to common questions about Brow Tint.
Brow tints usually last four to six weeks depending on hair growth, skin type, and aftercare. Oil-based products and frequent exfoliation can speed fading. We recommend touch-ups every 4–6 weeks to maintain consistent color and definition.
We perform a patch test for first-time clients to check sensitivity. Our professional-grade tints are low-irritant, but if you have known dye allergies or very reactive skin, we may recommend alternatives or consult a dermatologist before tinting.
Arrive with clean, makeup-free brows; avoid oil-based products for 24 hours prior. If you regularly use retinoids or chemical exfoliants, inform us so we can adjust treatment timing to minimize irritation and ensure optimal tint uptake.
Yes — tinting pairs well with waxing, threading, or brow shaping for a finished look. We can schedule services back-to-back during your appointment, but we’ll assess skin sensitivity to determine the ideal order and timing for best results.
Avoid water, steam, and facial products on the brow area for 24 hours to allow the dye to set. After 24 hours, use gentle, oil-free cleansers and avoid exfoliating treatments that may accelerate fading.
Many clients tint during pregnancy, but because formulas vary, we recommend discussing with your practitioner and doing a patch test. If you’re concerned, we can use milder products or postpone until postpartum based on medical advice.
