Get answers to common questions about Lipo shots/1 area.
Many localized pockets respond well — chin, jowls, abdomen, flanks, inner thighs, bra rolls, and knees. During a consultation we assess fat thickness, medical history, and goals to determine if a single-area Lipo shot is appropriate.
Most clients need one to three sessions per treated area, spaced about four to six weeks apart. Results accumulate gradually as fat cells are dissolved and cleared; your provider will recommend a tailored plan based on your response.
Treatments cause limited discomfort; we use topical numbing and local anesthetic to minimize pain. Most clients describe pressure or mild stinging during injections. No general anesthesia is required, and procedures are performed in-office by trained clinicians.
Initial changes can appear within two to four weeks, with continued improvement over six to twelve weeks as the body metabolizes treated fat. Maximum contouring is usually visible after the full clearing period.
Ideal candidates are close to their goal weight with stubborn, pinchable fat in a single area, good skin elasticity, and realistic expectations. Contraindications include pregnancy, certain autoimmune conditions, or bleeding disorders.
Common side effects include temporary swelling, bruising, redness, tenderness, and numbness at the injection site. Rare complications can include infection, prolonged firmness, or uneven contours. Our clinicians review risks and provide aftercare to minimize issues.
