We assess sensitivities during consultation and can perform a patch test. We use hypoallergenic pigments and topical anesthetics, but clients with severe allergies should consult their physician. Full disclosure of medications and skin conditions ensures a safe, tailored treatment.
Longevity varies by skin type, lifestyle, and pigment care. Expect 1–3 years before noticeable fading; many clients schedule touch-ups every 12–18 months to maintain richness and shape. Sun exposure and exfoliation accelerate fading.
Most clients report mild discomfort controlled with topical numbing applied before and during treatment. Sensations are brief and tolerable; we adjust technique and numbing to keep you comfortable throughout the procedure.
Initial pigment appears darker and may scab slightly; flaking typically occurs within the first week. Avoid water, rubbing, and makeup on the area. Healing completes in 4–6 weeks, at which point the true color and crispness are revealed.
You should avoid eye makeup for at least 7–10 days or until healing is complete. Using cosmetics too soon increases infection risk and can disturb pigment. After healing, gentle makeup application is fine, but avoid harsh removers.
Contraindications include pregnancy, active eye infections, recent ocular surgery, certain autoimmune disorders, blood-thinning medications, and uncontrolled diabetes. A pre-procedure consultation reviews medical history and, if needed, seeks physician clearance before scheduling.
